DIENES donates for the party of the volunteer fire department Overath-Vilkerath
100 years of the volunteer fire department Overath-Vilkerath were celebrated with a big party on 03 June 2023.
Among the guests of honor were the Overath mayor Christoph Nicodemus and our NRW Minister of the Interior Herbert Reul, who did not miss the opportunity to give a speech. A live band and a DJ provided the right atmosphere and local caterers for the physical comfort.
As a production company with its headquarters in Overath-Vilkerath, we are particularly happy to have a fire department right in our immediate vicinity. Every day, several thousand items, such as knives and knife holders, are manufactured in our production facility for the global market. We are the market leader in the field of knives, knife holders and slitting systems for industrial applications and can look back on 110 years of company history. Today DIENES employs around 500 people at 10 locations.Various national and international patents have set worldwide standards in the field of slitting in a wide range of industries to this day. For this we were recently awarded as “Germany’s Innovation Leader”. DIENES knives and knife holders are used to cut, score or perforate a wide variety of materials such as plastics, packaging, labels, adhesive tape, battery foil, nonwoven, cellulose, paper, sleeve paper, aluminum, carbon material and much more. DIENES products are used in roll to roll and roll to sheet processes, among others.
