111 years of DIENES
This summer, we celebrated our 111th anniversary - an extraordinary event that allows us to look back with pride on our long history and shared successes.
DIENES, a traditional family business, was founded in Remscheid in 1913 by Karl Rudolf Dienes and is now managed by the third and fourth generation. With Rudolf and Julian Supe-Dienes as the current managing directors, the family is continuing the company’s 111-year success story. DIENES is recognized worldwide as a leading supplier of precision knives, knife holders and slitting systems for industrial applications.
The celebrations for this special occasion took place in a festive atmosphere at an event location in Overath, where we invited our colleagues and partners to an unforgettable day.
As soon as they entered the location, guests were greeted by a lovingly designed photo wall, which not only provided great memories, but also captured the first moments of the day. Entertainment was provided: there was plenty of laughter at the employee bingo with high-quality prizes, and the excitement was tangible when Maja Supe-Dienes and Julian Supe-Dienes honored our jubilarians. Delicious food and refreshments were also provided.
Another highlight of the day was the fantastic dance performance by the Steinenbrücker Schiffermädchen, who delighted all the guests with their charming performance and put a smile on everyone’s faces. The cheerful atmosphere continued in the evening when the live band “Mama Phil and the Family” took to the stage and provided the best entertainment with rousing songs.
It was a day full of joy, good conversations and happy faces – a party that celebrated the community and team spirit within our company.
We would like to sincerely thank all our colleagues who spent this special day with us, and extend a big thank you to everyone who helped with the organization and execution of the celebration. Without you, this day would not have been so special. Together, we have written another chapter in our company history that we will certainly remember for a long time.
