New buildings in Germany and Poland
DIENES is a medium-sized family business that employs approx. 500 people in 7 countries worldwide. Founded in 1913, DIENES is a market leader in the fields of long and round knives, knife holders and cutting systems for industrial applications, as well as an innovation partner for plate valves and regulators. There is an increasing demand for DIENES high precision knives worldwide. To meet the demand, we have significantly expanded our capacities. DIENES knives and knife holders are used to cut, score or perforate a wide variety of materials, e.g. paper, sleeve paper, packaging, labels, adhesive tape, battery foil, nonwoven, cellulose, aluminium, carbon material and much more. DIENES products are used in the roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet processes, among others.
Knife factory – new 4,000 sqm company building
DIENES invested 5 million in the new production site, which has found its new home in Hückeswagen. The elaborate new building began with the ground-breaking ceremony at the end of 2017 and the site has been in operation since the beginning of 2019.
DIENES Polska – optimum availability & perfect service
In 1997, DIENES founded the subsidiary DIENES Polska in Inowrocław. In addition to selling DIENES products, the company offers its own regrinding service in Poland, where knives are regrinded to manufacturer quality. Due to the high demand, DIENES decided to add another 400 sqm hall to the existing building. The capacity will be expanded with new machines and the storage area will be extended. The new building was completed at the end of February 2019.
