Cutting rubber presents a special challenge. There are materials made of rubber or rubber with fabric inserts, such as steel cord and Kevlar. These allow for a wide variety of applications, for example, tire manufacturing, diaphragm manufacturing, conveyor and processing belts, as well as rubber tracks and timing belts to name a few.

This is in particular due to complex properties of rubber grades, additives and fabric inserts such as steel cord or Kevlar. Our PQAS crush cut holders, also known as PQDS, with multi-cylinder already meet many requirements here. In shear cut, in addition to our proven knife holder types, collars and bottom knives that are mounted on top and bottom knife shafts are also particularly suitable. This enables the narrowest cutting widths.

In addition, DIENES offers you all components for the various cutting processes: suitable knives in different qualities, special sleeves with reinforced springs, as well as adequate bottom knives and knife holders, which are also decisive for an exceptionally high cutting force. The heaviest materials are successfully separated in the burst cut. For crush cutting, the appropriate glass hard counter shaft is essential for the cutting result, which we offer as solid shaft, hollow shaft or glass hard rings.
